"My mother has Alzheimer's. We first started noticing signs in 1988, when she had problems remembering where she was. My father took care of her full time in their new home in San Diego. He took on more and more tasks around the house as her capacity declined. I have to mention that my father was in his 80's and my mother in her late 60's.
