Silent Suffering: Elder Abuse in America (Conference Proceedings) Publication Year:1996
We invited the pioneers and implementors of innovative model programs against elder abuse to explore the nature of elder abuse, and we asked them to share their experiences in creating solutions to deal with the problems faced in their endeavors to eliminate elder abuse. Conferees came from across the country, Canada, and Australia. They represented social services, academia, law enforcement, and prosecution entities. They came together to examine the clinical and legal issues of elder abuse, to promote successful intervention and prosecution models, and to learn from each other. Attachments
